After graduating from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in French, my career path was anything but conventional. I started as a language teacher in France and then in the USA, but with time my passion for skincare grew so much that I just had to study esthetics.
Shortly after earning my esthetics license, I landed my dream job at a leading global brand. As a bright-eyed, budding esthetician, my only goal was for each client to walk out of the spa feeling comfortable in her own skin and confident to take on any challenge life threw at her.
I soon noticed, however, that clients had a palpable skepticism for skincare advice and sometimes even a look of fear in their eyes. What were they afraid of?
The more I talked to clients, the clearer it became. “Complimentary” skin consultations had conditioned them to fear the inevitable – that notoriously awkward pressure to buy skincare products in exchange for skincare advice.
That’s why I created Glow Commitment, a fresh concept inspired by my unrelenting conviction that consumers shouldn’t be pressured into buying products to learn what their skin needs.
Driven by my unique background in education and skincare, I have dared to create a platform where every woman can access actionable knowledge and sincere product recommendations for a nominal fee.
